The short version: what I build for your practice is yours, professional judgement stays with you, and you can leave whenever you like after the first three months.
These terms cover use of this website and the free audit tool, and set out the basis on which Fourth Impact provides services. Specific client work is governed by the written agreement between us, which takes precedence over anything here.
Google Business Profile management and reporting, a report-writing system built around your practice, and an administrative system that reads your practice's correspondence and tells you what needs attention. Services are provided to building surveying practices in the United Kingdom.
This is the important one. Fourth Impact does not provide surveying, valuation, structural or any other professional advice, and nothing produced by any system I build constitutes such advice.
The report-writing system drafts from the notes you record. It does not inspect, does not form opinions, and does not identify defects. You remain responsible for reviewing, amending and signing off every report issued in your name, and for compliance with RICS requirements including those on the responsible use of artificial intelligence.
The report-writing system and the administrative system are installed on your own account and remain yours permanently. There is no licence to renew, no way for me to disable them, and nothing to hand back if we stop working together.
Content you provide — your reports, your templates, your client information — remains yours throughout and is never used for any purpose other than delivering your service.
The systems run on your own subscription with a third-party provider, contracted directly between you and them and paid by you. Fourth Impact is not a party to that agreement and is not responsible for that provider's availability, pricing or terms.
The one-off build fee is payable before work begins and is refundable if you're not satisfied with what I build — and you keep it either way. Monthly services run for a minimum of three months and monthly thereafter, cancellable with notice as set out in your agreement. Fees quoted are exclusive of any third-party subscriptions.
While I am providing monthly services to your practice, I will not begin providing the same monthly services to another surveying practice whose principal trading address is within ten miles of yours.
The audit tool is provided free and without obligation. It draws on publicly available data and third-party sources and is offered as a guide. Rankings and search results change constantly and no particular result or outcome is guaranteed.
I'll take reasonable care in everything I do. Fourth Impact is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit, or for the acts or availability of third-party platforms. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
These terms may be updated; the date above shows when. They are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
